Some of you may have received your survey today. The "smoke test" just to verify that everything in the survey is accurate and buyers don't experience issues. Pledge Management:
Thank you all so much for your generous patience. As this was my first Kickstarter I wanted to pick something easy to fulfill, but there are bigger plans on the horizon! With such a small number of backers, it would be easy to manage this process, but my hope is to gain experience in the support that I can get out there for a bigger project. I have selected BackerKit to assist me with fulfillment and back end. I am making my way through their process now and expect to have your selection surveys out to you soon!
Surveys:
Surveys will be going out this week, and the sooner everyone responds, the sooner I can get creating your selections. The Backerkit Survey should be going out by Wednesday this week, and I'd like to lock them by March 15th. If you have any concerns or issues, please don't hesitate to comment and we can work something out for you.
Shipping:
Hearing all the stories about shipping had me a little intimidated, but after research I found the best way to ship rocks is through the post office. As each person who supported me so far selected the 5 Garden stones, the best way to send this is through good ole USPS flat rate shipping options. As each supporter has already paid me $10 shipping for their 5 Garden Stones that will cover a small flat rate shipping box. I can fit 6 stones inside, but just barely with padding. Any more, and I will need to move to a medium flat rate box, which is $6.10 in additional shipping. If anyone wants to add some more stones, I can fit 30 stones in the medium box, so feel free to go hog wild if you add more stones.
Thank You Gift:
I am including one additional Garden stone per backer increasing 5 stones to 6. As an additional thanks to my backers only, I have added the opportunity to purchase any additional garden stones for $4 instead of $5. I also loved the idea of the inspirational garden sayings being available for you, so I opened up the ability to add those as an add on if you are interested.
Questions:
I'm sure there might be questions, so please utilize either the Backerkit survey or here on the comment section in Kickstarter for any questions. One of my larger concerns are that you have a particular plant identifier that I didn't have on my list. I tried to make a comprehensive list, but am sure that I missed someone's favorite. Please reach out in the comments and I will see what I can do if that is the case for you.
Thank you all so much for participating in my Kickstarter! My Kickstarter, Make 100 has officially closed. This has been a great learning experience and I hope to be able to do other Kickstarters in the future. I will be sending out a survey in the next few days requesting your shipping address and your list of plants to be engraved. I will be adding an additional stone as a thank you for participating. If you prefer your stones to be on the larger or smaller side please include that info and I will do my best to accommodate your request within my stated size parameters. My goal is to get these out to you as quickly as I can so you can start using them in your gardening adventures!
